Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Passing score on NCLEX
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Current Maryland State nursing license
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area

Responsibilities

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intermediate Care Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Role
  • Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while also striving to advance their own knowledge and skills through careful consideration of feedback and guidance provided by more senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
  • Serve as role models to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45 am -7:15 pm (3, 12-hour shifts per week - Within the 4-week schedule cycle, employee is expected to work a minimum of three weekend shifts (1 Saturday, 1 Sunday and another weekend shift of your choice). Must also work 1 Monday and 1 Friday.) Shift Type: Day Weekend Requirements: as listed above Holiday Requirements: Holiday rotation on Unit Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range: $37.00 - $55.00
