Job summary
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 for day shifts. Under general supervision, you will assess health problems, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records while delivering nursing care to clients.
You must have an Associate degree in nursing and a current Georgia RN license (or Multistate license), or have one year of RN1-level experience.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license, or one year of RN1 level experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients and maintains medical records.
- May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
