Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care on a busy unit. Under general supervision, you will apply the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Preferred BSN, SC or compact RN licensure, and current BLS certification. Minimum one year RN experience required; day shifts with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse is required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; current BLS required.
