Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for our ICU unit. The RN provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients, following the nursing process and collaborating with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Minimum: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's preferred.

Active RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS are required by the unit. Sign-on bonus of $30,000 for experienced new hires is available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/AED).
• ACLS is required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations : Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
