Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care and improve outcomes.

Required SC RN licensure (compact state acceptable), current BLS, and PALS/ACLS certification. Bachelor’s degree preferred; annual sign-on bonus of $30,000 for experienced new hires is available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS required; PALS and ACLS required.

Job Description

**$30,000 Sign on bonus for experienced new hires**

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
