Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in a high-acuity environment and to collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, effective care.

This role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, SC RN licensure (or compact state), BLS/PALS, and ACLS. 36 hours weekly across 3 twelve-hour shifts, 7p–7a with some weekend call. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required

either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
