Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System's Magnet-designated facility in downtown Baltimore seeks an experienced nurse to join its multidisciplinary care team. Ideal candidates hold Maryland RN licensure, have at least one year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and are committed to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN licensure or MD compact eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintain 10 contact hours education every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent patient care within a clinical specialty.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care.
• Serve as clinical resource and support others on unit.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and EBP activities.
• Orient new staff to unit governance and processes.
