Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shift in a regional float pool. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, safe medication administration, and patient education.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. Eligible clinicians can advance through the Clinical Ladder with potential salary increases; sign-on bonuses apply for full-time night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN with active license
• 1+ acute care hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Job Description

Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Sign on Bonus : Up to $15,000.00 for Full-Time Night Shift and up to $10,000.00 for Full-Time Day Shift.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
