Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking a night shift ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic critical care team. You will provide compassionate, specialized care for post‑operative and medically complex patients, using advanced monitoring and therapies.

A strong interdisciplinary collaboration ensures care plans reflect our mission of dignity and respect. Required MA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, IV competency within six months, and 2+ years in medical‑surgical or telemetry settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• IV skills with competency within six months of hire.
• Two years medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Job Description

Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is currently seeking a night shift, ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ICU RN is responsible for the care of patients within the ICU. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, within the framework of the RN license, participates in the following:

• Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Systematically assesses the health status of patients
• Analyzes and interprets data and makes nursing judgments regarding carePlans, implements and coordinates nursing interventions
• Evaluates outcome of nursing interventions
• Revises/updates plan of care
• Documents nursing process clearly and concisely
• Communicates nursing plan effectively

Minimum Requirements

Equivalent to a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.

Must complete an individualized critical care orientation and the Milton Hospital or equivalent telemetry course.

Basic Life Support certification required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required

Current IV skill preferred, completion of IV competency within six months of hire.

At least two years medical-surgical experience preferred.

Telemetry experience preferred.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $90.14

Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
