Registered Nurse - ICU

Full Time Night Shift - TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital - $5k Sign-On Bonus!

Location:

3125 Hamilton Mason Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011

Work Schedule:
  • Full Time Nights- (72 hours bi-weekly)
  • 7:00pm - 7:30am
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
  • Holiday rotation

Job Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
  • New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Knowledge, judgement, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle.
  • Preferred membership in related professional organization.
  • Previous ICU/critical care nursing experience required (minimum of 2-3 years).
  • Preferred certification in specialty.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
  • Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
  • Provide safe, patient‑centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
  • Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
  • Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete assigned care and documentation within required timeframes.
  • Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
  • Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
  • Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
  • Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
