Medicine University Hospital Authority (MUHA) in Charleston, SC, seeks a Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care on ART 7 West. You will work under supervision with the health care team to support patients undergoing cellular therapies and oncology treatments.
The role requires SC RN licensure (or compact) and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred and enrollment in an accredited BSN program is expected if not yet completed.
ART 7 West is a specialized 23-bed adult inpatient unit dedicated to the care of patients receiving cellular therapies, including Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR-T, TIL therapy, and other advanced hematologic treatments, as well as those being treated for Malignant Hematology conditions. The team expertly manages patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transplantation, and those enrolled in clinical trials, providing close monitoring and personalized care throughout their complex treatment journeys. All nurses complete the National Cancer Institute Collaborative Systemic Therapies Course within their first year to achieve chemotherapy competency, with ongoing opportunities for advanced cancer-specific education. ART 7 West strongly encourages specialty certification in oncology, cellular therapy, medical-surgical nursing, and palliative care, supporting professional growth while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care.

Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date.
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
