Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse I for the Cardiology Specialty Universal A team. This full-time day-shift role (7a–7p) provides care to patients with varying complexity in a high-acuity setting.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process, document steps, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while supporting patient education and discharge planning.

Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for patient age, cultural and psychosocial factors. Documents steps of the nursing process. Utilizes proper medical terminology. Addresses problems and progress toward goals. Facilitates patient discharge through timely, appropriate referrals and utilization of patient education resources, suitable to patient age and cultural/psychosocial factors. Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate. Supports unit/hospital goals through PI and educational activities as evidenced by attending in-services, meeting unit education standards, and completing variance reports.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.Working Relationship: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise).
