Rochester Regional Health in Newark, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Newark Wayne Hospital ICU. This per diem position supports day and night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
As an RN, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A NYS RN license and BLS are required; AS/ Diploma in Nursing is specified, with a BSN preferred.

AS: Nursing (Required)
Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision‑making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask‑fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
$39.74 - $52.99 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
