Job summary

You will hand off care using SBAR, maintain sterile procedures, and collaborate with physicians during examinations and rounds while delivering compassionate geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric patient care and clinical nursing.
• Ability to assess, monitor and document patient conditions.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry the transparent caseload Bed Bath & Beyond reserves for its most seasoned mid-level clinicians.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout each shift.
• Coach patients through Flexibility and Ventilator Management regimens until routines are established.
• Pull the data-honest overnight shifts at Waco, TX that demand independent judgment.
• Hand off at shift change using SBAR with no gaps for the incoming RN.
• Set up and break down sterile trays between cases on a tight OR turnover clock.
• Wound care from assessment to dressing change and track healing.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and rounds.
