Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments addressing psychological, physical, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop, review, and evaluate nursing intervention plans aligned with each client’s treatment plan.
  • Ensure nursing plans reflect cultural and linguistic considerations.
  • Oversee implementation of nursing care and adjust plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute nursing expertise to treatment planning.
  • Coordinate nursing care with other clinical disciplines to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Provide guidance to staff on nursing standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Offer health education and counseling to clients and families.
  • Participate in risk management and quality assurance activities.
  • Conduct counseling sessions under appropriate clinical direction.
  • Manage medical supplies, equipment, and medication processes.
  • Provide emergency care and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Monitor medication effects and side effects and document findings.
  • Lead health‑related groups and educational sessions on topics such as medication, wellness, coping skills, and behavioral health.
  • Serve as a mental health advocate in community activities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Role:

The Registered Professional Nurse provides psychiatric and medical nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
