The Hospitalist Coordinator RN plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care for hospitalized patients at St. Mary's Regional Hospital. Serving as a key partner to physicians, care managers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members, this position helps coordinate daily patient care activities, facilitate communication, optimize patient flow, and support seamless transitions throughout the hospitalization and discharge process.
This clinically focused role combines nursing expertise, care coordination, patient advocacy, and operational support to help ensure exceptional outcomes and experiences for patients, families, and caregivers.
Help patients navigate their hospital stay by coordinating care, supporting communication, and enhancing the patient experience.
Partner with hospitalists, nurses, case managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community providers to deliver exceptional care.
Use your clinical expertise to support admissions, discharges, patient assignments, and daily rounding activities.

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess patient needs.
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, etc.
