Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey for PRN, 8am–5pm shifts, 1–2 shifts per week with weekend rotation. Coverage areas include Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties.

You will provide compassionate, patient‑centered hospice care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families. RN license in the state, at least one year of nursing experience, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
