Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is seeking Registered Nurses to join our hospice team serving the Miami area, including South Miami Heights. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care across shifts with a focus on families and comfort.

The role supports flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement. We offer competitive W2 pay, mileage reimbursement, and mobile scheduling tools to streamline documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance required.
• CPR certification and TB test or chest X-ray required.
• Minimum 1 year home health, primary care, or facility experience preferred (hospice training available).
• Licensed driver with insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver optimal care.

BrightStar Care is looking to add Registered Nurses to our team to work as hospice nurses in the Miami/North Miami areas!

We are seeking compassionate individuals to support patients and their families as a hospice nurse on our team. We prioritize our employees by ensuring they receive exemplary benefits and a flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle!

This position may require driving to a variety of locations within an approximate 25 mile radius centered around Hialeah.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver optimal care and advice
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, administering injections) and maintain patient records
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies
• Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license
• AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance
• Physical examination completed within the past six months
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Minimum of one (1) year documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility
• Previous hospice experience preferred (we will train)
• Previous experience with hospice nursing is preferred
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, based on client mobility
