Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support the ASC with admissions, OR, PACU and discharge duties, delivering direct patient care across neonate to geriatric populations.

The role emphasizes teamwork with surgeons and anesthesiologists, equipment readiness, and adapting to fast-paced, high-stakes environments; BSN preferred, MT RN license, BCLS and ACLS required, prior OR experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Montana (state licensure required).
• BCLS certification required; ACLS or planned completion within first year.
• Previous operating room experience preferred.

• Performs duties throughout the ASC in Admissions, OR, Pain procedures, PACU and discharge.

• Ensures OR readiness, obtains supplies, and supports the surgical team.

Provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases, and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Montana.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS or scheduled to be completed within the first year of employment.
• Previous experience in the operating room.

Exemption Wage Non-Exempt Starting Wage $35.67/hourly Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
