Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Kansas to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.

You will collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes. Qualifications include RN licensure and BLS; several preferred certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications listed are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly re-evaluate as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Job Description

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000.00 For eligible candidates

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
