UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts seeks a Registered Nurse for the Harrington Emergency Room. This on-site role offers 36 hours weekly with a 12.5-hour evening shift (11:30 am–12:00 am) across Southbridge and Webster locations, providing direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge.

Requires MA RN license, active BLS, and ACLS as required by unit. You will assess patients, coordinate care, document, and support quality improvement in a fast-paced ED.

Assists physician with treatment and procedures and special tests as required or directed. 10. Participates in and supports Nursing Governance activities. 11. Assumes responsibility for professional growth. Assists in education and development of staff. 12. Position Qualifications:License/Certification/Education:Required: 1. Current Massachusetts licensure and registration. 2. Completion of an accredited school of nursing program. 3. BLS is a requirement for every RN unless advance cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.Experience/Skills:Required: 1. Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.III.
