As an RN, you will oversee admission and discharge orders, adjust medication plans, and communicate changes promptly to families, physicians, and residents. You will ensure care plans are implemented and documentation is precise to meet regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California RN license and be in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of RN or LVN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Familiarity with CMS, Title 22, and OBRA regulations.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new admission orders, discharge orders, and changes in medication and treatment orders.
• Notify resident family members/surrogate decision makers of changes in condition, medication, and treatment orders.
• Obtain informed consents, develop resident care plans, and document communication with physicians, residents and families.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of orders and communication as required by policy.
• Respond quickly, calmly, and professionally to medical emergencies.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing care and safety.
