Job summary

Palmdaleregional is seeking a registered nurse to provide and monitor safe patient care in line with RN scope and hospital policies. The role may require floating to various units as needed and adherence to infection control standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a California RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, including IV therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited RN program; A.A., Diploma, B.S.N. preferred.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current California RN License, current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association, Current ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association and IV experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and monitors safe, cost-effective patient care in accordance with RN scope of practice and adherence to the organization’s nursing policy and procedures.
• Through knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Floats to assigned areas as requested.
