Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide highly technical, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while supervising team members and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role emphasizes clear communication, relationship building, accountability, professional growth, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives within a dynamic hospital setting in Texas.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Texas nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support certification; additional department-specific certifications as required.
  • Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care following nursing standards and hospital policies.
  • Supervise and collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and safety.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and timely.
