Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general medical/surgical patient care on-site in Midland. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care under physician orders and established standards.

The position includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ongoing education, and adherence to regulatory requirements. A valid MI RN license, BLS, and hospital experience are expected.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assesses patients' needs and provides nursing services as prescribed by the physician and plan of care.
• Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, transfers, and responding to alarms.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment plans and suggests updates with the care team.
• Processes physician orders accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
• Documents clinical data clearly and reports significant changes to the team.
