IU Health’s Adult Medical Liver/GI unit at University Hospital is fast‑paced and highly specialized. This unit treats patients with chronic liver disease, pancreatitis, pre/post liver and kidney transplant patients, and patients who have undergone ERCP procedure. Our nurses use critical thinking as they support high acuity patients. Nurses will build upon variety of skills such as IV’s, NG placement, G, J, GJ tubes, enteral/parental feeds, etc.
