Job summary

Park Nicollet invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy team in Minnesota. The RN will manage patient care episodes in collaboration with the care team and coordinate nursing duties to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Preferred candidates hold a nursing degree and Minnesota RN licensure with BLS/ACLS; endoscopy experience and EMR familiarity are a plus. Park Nicollet offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires RN degree (ADN/BSN/MSN) as a minimum.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Minnesota RN license required.
• Experience with endoscopy and EMR systems preferred.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to other members of the nursing care team.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree or diploma in nursing required.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

BLS/ACLS

Validated Minnesota Registered Nurse License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, and electronic medical record.

IV insertion skills

Administration of Moderate Sedation

Endoscopy Technical Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

One year of prior experience in nursing, endoscopy experience preferred.
