Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join Polk Correctional Institution in Polk City, Florida. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON/Nursing Supervisor in a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes night shifts (3-12 hour nights) with rotating weekends. Must hold an RN license (or be able to obtain one) and CPR certification, and be able to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
