Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks a registered nurse to deliver high-quality care using the nursing process. You will direct and supervise team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure age-appropriate care per unit standards.

Required are an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN license (or eligibility), BLS, and ACLS as needed. Night shifts, weekends, and holidays are part of the schedule with a focus on patient safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current ACLS certification as required by department.

Your Job:
Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department ACLS
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 6 months critical care RN experience

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
