Warren Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New Jersey seeks an RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and oversee patient care, medications, and rounds across shifts. You will educate staff and residents, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and delivering compassionate care.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $2,500 for part-time, a competitive salary, and strong benefits. An active NJ RN license and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Clear verbal and written English communication
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Long term care experience and bedside manner
• Ability to supervise and educate nursing staff

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise nursing staff on assigned shifts and monitor medication distribution and patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit consistently during the shift
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families as needed
• Ensure staff perform duties per local, state, and federal guidelines
• Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements
• Maintain compassionate environment and provide information to residents and staff
• Maintain safe, clean working environment by following procedures and regulations
• Monitor confidential information and maintain documentation of resident care
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and other responsibilities as required
• Ensure staff performance aligns with guidelines; perform other duties as assigned

Sign on Bonus $5000 for Full Time and $2500 for Part Time

The key responsibility of this position will be to directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shifts by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care. Conduct nursing rounds on each unit consistently throughout the shift. You must be able to provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members and ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines. This opportunity awaits a dedicated, compassionate and responsible RN with great communication skills to be a vital link between our patients, families, nurses and other facility staff.

Responsibilities Include

• Complete Resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff

• Maintain Nursing guidelines and establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and their families

• Provide information to Residents and Staff by answering questions and requests

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations

• Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing

• Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing Resident and department records

• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and other responsibilities as required

• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Other Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Must hold a Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Able to Communicate Clearly in English Verbally and in Writing

• Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills

• Long term care experience and strong Bedside Manner

• Ability to work together in Supporting a Team Atmosphere
