Job summary

Gulf Coast Treatment Center, Inc. in Fort Walton Beach, FL is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an intensive inpatient psychiatric program serving adolescent females aged 12-18.

The 7am-3pm shift requires flexibility to cover additional days/shifts as needed to maintain patient care. • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Florida RN licensure required.
• Minimum two years' experience as an RN in psychiatric health care facility and/or adolescent health care setting preferred.

Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. The ideal candidate will be available for 7am-3pm shift as well as availability to cover other days / shifts for requested time off. The RN is the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team. Accountable for the implementation of a collaborative care plan as proscribed by the physician(s) and treatment team. Provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional Nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensures environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
