Job summary

Celerion is seeking a full-time nurse to support clinical research trials in Tempe, AZ. The role offers exposure to drug development and hands-on patient interactions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is an RN licensed in their state with at least 1 year of clinical experience, CPR certification, and strong nursing assessment skills. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are required and tested.

Qualifications

• RN (licensed in practicing state).
• 1 year of clinical practice experience with assessment skills.
• EMT-P or Respiratory Technician with ACLS or other emergency experience desirable.
• Emergency or Intensive Care medical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to respond to study participant needs (lifting, bending, crouching).
• Exposure to human biological samples.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Strong reasoning skills.
• Strong medical/nursing assessment skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Qualified to perform nursing tasks (vital signs, ECGs, draw blood, etc).
• Train clinical associates on ECG procedures, manual vital procedures and assessment skills related to reporting Adverse Events.
• Perform other clinical procedures necessary for study conduct.
• Certified to perform, monitor, and/or train invasive and non-invasive dosing procedures.
• Assess and identify and report adverse events to medical staff (safety nurse, medical director, physician).
• Able to implement and execute emergency procedures.
• May administer Informed Consent Forms.

• Celerionis seeking aFull-timeNurseto assist with our clinical research trials. This is a dynamic role working with a healthy population offering the ability to learn about clinical research and see the drug development process at work.

Essential Functions

• Qualified to perform all nursing tasks (vital signs, ECGs, draw blood, etc)
• Train clinical associates on Electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures, manual vital procedures and assessment skills related to reporting Adverse Events (A/E's)
• Perform other clinical procedures necessary for study conduct
• Certified to perform, monitor, and/or train invasive and non-invasive dosing procedures
• Assess and identify and report adverse events to medical staff (safety nurse, medical director, physician)
• Able to implement and execute emergency procedures
• May administer Informed Consent Forms

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses

• RN (licensed in practicing state)
• 1 year of clinical practice experience with assessment skills
• Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic (EMT-P) or Respiratory Technician with Advanced cardiac life support or other emergency experience desirable
• Emergency or Intensive Care medical experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to respond to study participant needs (i.e. lifting, bending, crouching, etc.)
• Exposure to human biological samples
• Strong assessment skills
• Strong reasoning skills
• Strong medical/nursing assessment skills
• Detail oriented
• Professional and positive attitude
• Flexible work schedule up to 40 hours (Mon-Friday and possible weekends)
• English-Spanish bilingual spoken fluency is required and tested.
