Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU. The role requires 12x3 night shifts (7pm–7am) and weekend/holiday coverage as needed, with supervision of team members and collaboration across disciplines to deliver age-appropriate care.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold, or be eligible for, Texas RN licensure, and possess current BLS certification. A BSN is preferred and NICU experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Current RN license to practice in Texas or eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year RN NICU experience.

Your Job:
Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
