Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to float to ICU, NCCU, CVICU, Burn ICU & PCU, delivering high‑quality care using the nursing process.

You will supervise team members, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure age-appropriate care per unit standards. BSN preferred; Texas RN license and BLS are required; 2+ years in CCU/ER preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: At least 2 years RN Critical Care/ER experience.

Your Job

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: At least 2 years RN Critical Care/ER experience.
