Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to float across ICU, NCCU, CVICU, BurnICU and PCU, providing high-level nursing care to assigned patients during a 12-hour night shift. The RN will apply the nursing process, supervise team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age-appropriate and evidence-based care.

Applicants should have graduated from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), hold current BLS, Texas RN license (or eligibility), and

Formación

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred.
Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
Work experience: At least 2 years RN Critical Care/ER experience.

The person in this role will float to the following units -ICU, NCCU, CVICU,BurnICU & PCU

Your Job:

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Current additional certifications as required by department
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
Work experience: At least 2 years RN Critical Care/ER experience.
