Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 7pm-7am night shift in the labor and delivery unit. You will render professional nursing care using the nursing process, supervise team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate care.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or is pursuing licensure in Texas, stays current on BLS, and has 12 months of L&D RN experience.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• 12 months L&D RN experience is required.

Job Description

Your Job: Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
