• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for medical or surgical patients.
• Document the physician's plan of care accurately in the EMR.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach and perform procedures correctly as needed.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plans of care, and patient responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
