Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas County seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-level nursing care to assigned patients during the 7pm–7am shift. You will perform the nursing process with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, directing and supervising team members in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, Texas licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years in Critical Care. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 2 years Critical Care RN experience.

Your Job

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 2 years Critical Care RN experience
