Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in the Dallas area seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-level critical care nursing, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Ideal candidates have a BSN preferred, current BLS/ACLS, Texas RN license, and at least 2 years in ICU/ER.

You will supervise team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to maintain patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Active Texas RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with critical care/ER exposure.

Your Job: Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
• Work experience: at least 2 years RN experience
• Must have critical care/ER experience
