Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a Free-Standing Emergency Room team in Florida. The RN will triage, assess, and treat patients across all ages, coordinating with physicians and departments to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements include 1 year ER acute care experience, FL RN license (or eligibility), and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Recent Acute Care ER RN experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida, or able to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
• BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
• Provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
• Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient focused and safety aware at all times.

• BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Salary Range: $27.72- $33 an HR (5 years)- $36.30 (10 years)- $39.60 (15+)
