Job summary

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Riverside in Rockford, IL is seeking a Nurse for a travel contract in the Rockford, IL area. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Specialty coverage includes ICU, telemetry, step-down, and various med-surg/CPCU roles.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or step-down/telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU/telemetry and step-down units.
• Monitor cardiac and vital signs, respond to changes, and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other staff to ensure high quality care.
• Document patient data and interventions in the electronic health record.
