Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool, full-time nights. The role involves floating to ED, ICU PCU, MSU, with a $10,000 sign-on for eligible candidates and a $5 float pool differential.

Eligible clinicians may advance through the Clinical Ladder for raises up to 20%. The RN must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred) and be eligible for RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans per standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
