UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care on the night shift. The role requires applying the nursing process from admission to discharge, coordinating care plans and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Current MA nursing licensure with BLS; ACLS as required by unit. BSN preferred; non-exempt, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth within the Memorial Health system.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.
• ACLS certification is current where applicable.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

$37.51 - $81.95

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

I. Major Responsibilities

License/Certification/Education

II. Position Qualifications:

Required

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless advance cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Experience/Skills

Required:

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

Work is considered medium. Position requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
