Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate), and BCLS certification.

New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred but not required for PRN positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate license) is required.
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
