Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Float Pool Nurse to support Critical Care, Med-Surg and Telemetry units across Anna Jaques Hospital. The role offers 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays, and shift diffs apply.

You will provide broad clinical coverage, experience variety, and autonomy as a trusted hospital-wide resource. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with MA RN licensure (or eligibility), and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors clinical status (vital signs, patient signs and symptoms).
• Interprets clinical data.
• Acts in accordance with clinical data interpretation and physician orders.
• Demonstrates proficiency in caring for the monitored patient.
• Interprets diagnostic tests as they relate to patient care.
• Responds appropriately in an emergency situation.
• Demonstrates clinical proficiency in unit-specific competencies and mandatory requirements.
• Completes criterion referenced competency checklists.

Pay Range

$36.93 - $80.96

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
