Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care within the Department of Medicine. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting clinicians, and maintaining accurate patient records.
The ideal candidate will have a current NYS RN license, CPR certification, and preferably experience in an outpatient setting. The position offers flexible hours, with part-time and full-time availability. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off, is provided.
Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients within the Department of Medicine. The registered nurse monitors patient, procedure assistant, preceptor and triage nurse. The RN is also expected to help assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while overseeing the work of the licensed practical nurse, and ancillary staff in the Practice.
NYS licensed/registered RN. Prior experience in an outpatient setting (specialty area) strongly preferred. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Work Days: Monday - Friday daytime hours; part time or full time position available. 24-40 hours per week based on candidates' preference.
