Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in South Jersey. The RN will provide direct patient care, apply the nursing process, and contribute to patient safety and outcomes.

Must have at least 2 years of acute care RN experience; graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; hold a current NJ-RN license and NJ-BLS; CNOR preferred; ACLS/NALS/PALS may be required for some specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License.
• Current NJ-BLS Certification.
• Current NJ-CNOR (preferred).
• Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).

• The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Short Description

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Experience Required

Must have at least 2 years of acute care RN experience with at least one of these years being in the specialty area in which you are applying.

Education Requirements

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).

Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).

Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) preferred.

Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).

Special Requirements

Full time, 7 pm -7 am, weekends and holidays required.
