Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Nittany Valley is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for both 8-week short-term contract roles and full-time positions. As an RN, you will deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery goals.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required per state regulations.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones.

Education

RN licensure/Registered Nurse license

CPR certification (ACLS preferred)

CRRN certification preferred

1 year of rehab hospital experience preferred
