Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time, part-time, pool, and 8-week short-term contracts. Working hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with opportunities for career progression and RN ladder advancement.

We offer generous shift differentials, tuition repayment after six months, and incentives for CRRN certification. As a Full-Time RN, you will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient recovery

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred; experience in rehab setting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, assess patients, and tailor care plans to support recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families to support rehabilitation goals.
• Serve as a resource for staff and participate in care planning and rounds.
