Job summary

Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown, Maryland seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will provide hands-on care, perform assessments, administer medications, and lead care coordination with physicians, CNAs, and LPNs to ensure dignified, resident-centered care.

This role requires an active Maryland RN license and CPR/BLS; prior long-term care experience is a plus and we offer daily pay, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland.
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus - we’ll train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed.
• Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Follow all policies and procedures of the facility.
• Serves as charge nurses when assigned.
• Participates as required in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Attends all required educational activities and meetings. Documents care per policy requirements.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity.
